MilkDrop Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
MilkDrop helps you log feedings and pumping sessions for your baby. This policy explains what happens to the information you enter. The short version: we don't collect it. Your data stays on your devices and in your own iCloud account.
What MilkDrop stores
The feedings, pumping sessions, notes, your baby's name and an optional photo that you enter. This is saved on your iPhone and synced through your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, so it appears on your devices and on the home screen widget.
What we collect
Nothing. MilkDrop has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The developer cannot see, access or download your data. We don't sell or share any information, because we never receive it.
Sharing with a partner
If you choose Share with Partner, MilkDrop uses Apple's iCloud sharing to give the people you invite access to your baby's log. They can see and add entries, and you can stop sharing at any time in Settings. Shared data is handled by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy.
Photos
When you add a baby photo, you choose a single picture with Apple's photo picker. MilkDrop can't see the rest of your photo library.
Notifications
Feeding and pumping reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to a server.
Deleting your data
Swipe to delete any entry. Deleting the app removes data stored on your iPhone, and you can remove MilkDrop's iCloud data in the Settings app under your name > iCloud > Manage Account Storage.
Children
MilkDrop is meant for parents and caregivers, not for children to use. It doesn't collect personal information from anyone.
Not medical advice
MilkDrop is a logging tool. It doesn't give medical advice. Talk to your pediatrician or a lactation consultant about your baby's feeding.
